Fashion Without Borders 2019 is turning up the heat for its momentous 5th year Anniversary and has announced a new and exciting partnership with the Grand Palm wedding expo which is in its 4th year running.
The amalgamation of Botswana’s two prestigious Fashion showcases introduces a brand new era in the country’s fashion calendars and is set to become the must attend event for a discerning trendsetters. This year headlines the renowned wedding couture designer Gert-Johan Coetzee who will be showcasing at the Wedding Expo and Fashion show, to be held on the 06th of April.

This year, we have yet another exciting experience in store for fashion lovers: The Grand Palm Hotel Casino & Convention Resort presents Fashion without Borders (FWB). This fashion show will highlight how current fashion trends are predicted by moods, behavior and buying habits of a consumer at a particular time. And to cope with ever-changing technologies, markets and consumers are rapidly evolving from following traditional, static and demography-based criteria towards more dynamic, modern, lifestyle and psychographic influences.

The event, which will be hosted over 3 days of creativity, ingenuity and self-expression, will bring together 30 designers, ranging from new talent to emerging and established names, like Gert-Johan Coetzee of South Africa, who will showcase some of his latest collections at the Wedding Expo, Pamela Creations of Zimbabwe and Charity Karimi of Kenya. The fashion designers will take Centre stage to showcase their interpretation of fashion design in the African Continent, in an effort to raise awareness about local fashion consumption.

This great lifestyle event includes an Exhibition show, Runway show, Wedding Expo and a Wedding Fashion Show to be enjoyed by the public, with an opportunity to interact with both local and Southern African Development Community region designers. Expect to spend a beautiful day at The Botswana National Museum and monuments overlooking the first mall in Gaborone and a further 2 eventful days at GRAND PALM HOTEL CASINO & CONVENTION RESORT a magnificent events hotel, with great ambiance.
